Oldsmobile 76 or 78 Club Sedan - 1948

The next is a very rare card. Note the odd description saying it is a 1948 car. The rubber gravel shield indicate it is NOT a '48. ('48 normally had chrome parts.) Also the fake "whitewall" tires (actually white wheel rim rings) indicate that it is an earlier photo. These rings were popular in 1946/47 because of shortage of real whitewall tires.

This black and white card shows a 1947 66/68 2dr Sedan. Note again the short back bumpers (just a small piece is visible). That is indicating a series "6" model. The text on the back reads (note that there is no card number mentioned):
