Colorful Buick Ad / Thunderbird, Las Vegas / '51 Olds
Roadside Architecture
Woodie on a Ferry and a Trip to Fresno CA
I also present scenery from Irving NY, cars in the shade of big trees in the mid fifties. Finally a bus stop, shot in Greyhound Key FL in 1951. According to roadside architecture expert Debra Jane Seltzer that place was renamed to 'Fiesta Key' in 1966. It shows a stylish Greyhound bus waiting for passengers.

Buick Ads and a Visit in Monroeville PA
oldsads.org Becomes a Drupal Site ...
Logins also moved from Yahoo to my site. Not much will change for you: If there are any updates, you will receive an email as usual. I also moved all account names to oldsads.org, so you can log in here.
Oldsmobile Vintage Auto Ads 1946 - 1960
This collection shows ads from Oldsmobile from 1946 to the fifties. Most of them were published in the Saturday Evening Post, the Country Gentleman, Holiday and Life.
A sister site of this site shows ads from other car makers ('vintageads') from my collection. You can see many Buick ads, that I also prefer to collect, and ads of other makes.
Everybody has a blog these days, so oldsads.org has now one, too. Updates and news will be presented on the Blog Page, which is actually what I called "News" previously. Thanks to Drupal, older updates will be automatically integrated and shift down with times.
This site is not only about automobile ads. I also show part of my collection of post cards and photos that I shoot myself occasionally. You find also a few other items of my collection here. They are related to the time era, but don't fit anywhere else (matchbooks, calendar pinups, non-auto postcards etc.)
Here you can read some personal data about me.

Double-sided ads are available in a special wallpaper version. I removed part of the text, so your desktop doesn't become too cluttered. Here is an overview of these wallpapers.
